I agree. I'm not a scientist nor an electronic engineer but common sense dictates that it would be impossible for aircraft avionics to be affected by puny transmitters such as cellphones, etc. Look at it tis way...if these things were so damned "dangerous" why haven't some deranged terrorists used these to bring down planes. Much easier to smuggle onboard a cellphone and leave it it... Just plain stupid policies.
