I had a Meridian - must have been an old type, since it is not to be found anymore. It was before the Gold and Platinum versions. It died once, but we had an extended warranty & traded it for the same thing, then the new one died - all withing one year. I am now in the market and thinking of an e-trex but still like Meridian. Would love the tooth fairy to bring me a Meridian Color w/topo, since Santa never did!!!

This is straight from a Groundspeak person I wrote. The 'little guy' is the Groundspeak Guy. He's a stylized "X marks the spot" and both a destination and a person reaching the destination. He's "speaking" to the world with the speech arrows zinging out of his head. I hope this answers your question. DiziTxs

I agree with you. I have taken WG $ out (logging them, of course) and put them back into circulation. I have also just moved a few. I wondered the same thing as you, however, since it seems to combine the "Where's George" program and the "Travel Bug" program. If they are put into a cache, with a note telling to put them back into circulation, I think it would be better..not useing them as TBs. DiziTxs
