  1. PQ Preview not showing distances for PQ from Bookmark List or PQ Along a Route Still works OK for a normal PQ though
  2. Relogging finds automatically would be fairly easy now using GSAK and a 'My Finds' PQ Relogging all DNFs would be trickier because they are only included in the My Finds PQ if the cache was subsequently found. Mark
  3. Agree 100% with this! If you've got nothing to say, don't say anything. Cut & Pasted essays are the WORST type of log. Far worse than a 'TFTC'! Personally, I wouldn't even log TFTC if the overall experience was negative. Mark
  4. No Indeed there are. 95 caches in the UK have over a 1000 finds: project-gc
  5. It's hardly a major bug. It's always been like that
  6. When I plan to go to an area I'll run a PQ for that area but I then run another PQ for the route to the area or for an overlapping circle if you see what I mean. At the moment I run the first PQ, load it into GSAK, add the whole lot to the ignore list and then run the second PQ (excluding caches in the ignore list) to avoid duplicates What would be really handy is if I could just exclude the results of the first PQ in the 2nd PQ
  7. When we went to Ireland/Northern Ireland earlier this year we used Open Streetmap on the Oregon but I also created an overlay of the county boundaries for MemoryMap on the Mio so I could be sure to tick off the counties I wanted. If you've got TomTom, you don't need a map for Europe's First - just park the car and follow the path The much overlooked Kyle's Cache (second oldest cache in Ireland) is a bit trickier to find without mapping though Mark
  8. We went to IOW for a day in September. Rather than repeat it all here you can read about it here! Mark
  9. And it's all soggy with condensation first thing in the morning...
  10. Found some caches today where the previous finders didn't bother dating the logs at all - just a stamp. Yeah, yeah everyone plays the game their own way and all that but it would have been nice to know if they were out caching on the same day as us or if they had done the series several days earlier (no log in PQ as yet) Mark
  11. We've always done that on our Puzzles and Wherigos With Trads it's just bad luck! Mark
  12. I just noticed some of the other D/T ratings on that series. Totally over the top! 4.5/3 for GC3PFVC, a small cache where you just have to stand in a fence and reach into a tree! Crazy!! Mark
  13. Gosh! I was FTF on that one and I never realised it was a D4! To be honest, I rarely look at the D/T ratings anyway because they are pretty much meaningless. It just emphasizes how silly D/T grid related challenge caches are! Mark
  14. Erm... That's pretty much what I meant when I said 'filter using GSAK' Can anyone think of an easier method? Mark
  15. I think you will find that Deceangi never* asks other cacher to retrieve Geolitter Other reviewers might, but but not Deci (This is not a comment on the rights or wrongs of leaving geolitter - just a statement of fact!) Mark *I could be wrong though
  16. I want so see which are the closest caches above 1344 metres (I OBVIOUSLY should not have posted this in 'United Kingdom and Ireland' forum! ) I've found a few bookmark lists for countries' highest cache but I don't want the highest - just above 1344m The only way I can think of is by running some PQs for likely locations and then filter using GSAK Can anyone think of an easier method? Thanks Mark
  17. Looks OK to me I just added an image and text to this one link In the editor, click 'source' and stick your html in there Mark
  18. There are GreaseMonkey scripts to set PQ defaults etc I'm pretty sure there's one somewhere which saves your settings I just use this one which I wrote myself link Mark
  19. OK Please make ignored caches visible when viewing someone's list of owned caches If you don't want to see them, don't go looking for them! Mark
  20. Why is this topic locked? http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=253459&pid=4382496&st=0entry4382496 I was planning to bump it, but it is locked without any explanation If Groundspeak have no plans of ever fixing the ignore list, perhaps they could at least say so!
  21. I wouldn't call that a neutral comment! Saying TFTC is pretty positive. If I had to relog I would just put our usual # number and nothing else. I certainly wouldn't be saying 'thanks' or any abbreviation of it Mark
  22. Luckily, keystone isn't a UK reviewer. You can always appeal if a cache gets rejected Mark
