Guest touracnt
Hi Folks, Just got my Vista yesterday. Going on my first hunt this afternoon. I've figured out how to enter the waypoint of the cache, then realized the elevation of the waypoint was reading the same as my current elevation, which was 600+ ft.. I happened to be standing on the balcony of my 6th floor hotel room, and as the area I'm in is very flat and the cache is less than 4 miles away, i'm wondering if i'm going to get a deviation due to altitude when nearing the cache? Anybody know the answer and how to prepare for or anticipate altitude? Thanks, Dave Quote Link to comment

Also, you need to calibrate the altimeter at a known elevation. Quote Link to comment
