+LeadMagnet
Thought some might be interested in a good article written recently for the Vancouver Courier about our fine sport. Being one of the interviewees, I couldn't resist passing the link around a bit: http://www.vancourier.com/issues05/022205/.../022205nn1.html Quote Link to comment
+Camo-crazed
Well there are good parts to the article "You're not really harming anything," he says after replacing the cache. "You're not doing anything wrong and bad parts The caches can be anything from a rock cairn in the desert to a tree stump in the woods, concealing what usually amounts to a Tupperware container full of keychains, golf balls, expired Starbucks coupons, and strange plastic objects disdainfully referred to as "McToys." but thats typical Quote Link to comment
+Gonzo-YT
Hundreds of thousands of dollars in geocaches? $5000 first-to-find prizes? I`m sorry, but I found that really hard to believe. Was that person just pulling the reporter's leg, or does he have something against Vancouver Island cachers? I mean, I can just see hundreds of people reading that article and heading out to plunder geocaches on the island for the hidden loot. In my humble opinion, that interview was NOT helping the sport much. Regards, Anthony Quote Link to comment
