+Mr'D
Does anyone make use of the Trig & Waypoint Manager with this GPSr? Being a non-mapping unit, GSAK/Memory-map seem to be a more useful combination, or am I missing something? I do not use a laptop/portable PC. Jon Quote Link to comment
peter
No, I don't think you're missing anything. But for a long time Garmin hasn't had any PC software to offer customers who have non-mapping models or choose not to buy one of the MapSource map products. The Trip and Waypoint software is certainly better than nothing for those customers, but for specific applications there is frequently better third-party software available. BTW, I think it's intended to be useful for planning and recording trips, not to help with trigonometry problems. Quote Link to comment

Well it's good to know where London and Coventry are when caching I guess... lol Seriously though, downloading routes from Manager is OK if you are travelling down motorways/A roads etc. and simply want to plan a long distance route, but for any other use it's no use. A case of 'you get what you pay for' I guess. I'll stick with the GSAK/memory-map combo! Jon Quote Link to comment
