Guest Lobster
I just purchased a Magellan GPS unit for my Handspring Visor palm organizer. I have a question regarding maps. All of the USA street maps are organized by counties under the appropriate state. If I'm trying to find a city in Colorado for example, how do I easily find out what county it is in? I can easily do that in my home states where I know this information. I tried seeing if Mapquest or one of the other Map web-sites do this but had no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Guest Lobster
I'm answering my own question. If you go to www.mapopolis.com and try to get a free map they have an online tool that will give you which county the city in question resides. Seems a pity that I have to use some other software companies site to get information to use my software. Quote Link to comment
