Some have dates on the marker but many are Monumented UNK. Would anyone have an idea of the date range for these? Last weekend I found: PID=JC1008 An earlier find that does have a date: PID=JC0574 Thankyou! Quote
+Black Dog Trackers Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 I don't know about the monumentation itself, but an internet search for "Missouri River Commission" gives map dates around 1890. If they took all that trouble to make the maps, they probably set 'permanent' markers while the mapping was done. Quote
