+JShorr
How do I remove maps from my 60cs? I just received the upgrade to CitySelect v6 and would like to take the CitySelect v5 maps off of the unit. Quote Link to comment
+W7WT
I am no expert in this but don't remove the V5 until you check with someone more knowlegeable than I am. I installed V6 CS on my 76C and iQue over the V5 with no problems. I understand it is an upgrade and V6 needs some of what is in V5 to install properly. If you don't get a proper answer here, maybe a call to Garmin might be wise. Depends on where you live but for me V6 is more detailed than V5. However some of the lakes, rivers etc. seem to be missing in V6. Good luck. Dick, W7WT Edited October 2, 2004 by W7WT Quote Link to comment
SergZak
You don't and can't "remove" maps from the GPS unit. They are over-written when you upload another mapset. Simply create another mapset with CS v6 and upload it to the GPS. Your old CS v5 mapset on the unit will be replaced with the new CS v6 mapset. Quote Link to comment
