SergZak Posted July 31, 2004 Share Posted July 31, 2004 The only way you can "remove" maps from the unit is to overwrite them with a different mapset. You also cannot add or remove individual map segments...you need to replace the mapset with another. The process of uploading maps is a one-time deal...you pick the maps you want to upload and send the entire mapset to the unit in one shot. If you need to add/replace/remove maps, you build another mapset and send it to the unit. You can see the amount of memory that the maps will take up in the GPS before sending them to the unit from within MapSource under the "Maps" tab. At the bottom of the list will be a running memory total of your selected maps. Quote Link to comment
