I own the GPS V and was interested in knowing if there is any free upgrades availble for new streets and such. I live in sacramento and with the rate it is growing new streets are added daily. any help would be great Quote Link to comment

+Markwell Posted July 13, 2004 Share Posted July 13, 2004 The GPS V comes with MapSource® City Select, a software that downloads all of the maps. It looks like the latest edition is Version 6. I would assume that as a Garmin user, you might get some discount from Garmin or a reseller to upgrade to 6 if you have 5 (for example), but I'd be very surprised (and happy for you) if that upgrade were free. Check out the Garmin website and/or a TRUSTED reseller. I use TVNAV.com. Quote Link to comment
