I find it easy to use and to load back and forth between my GPS. When I get back from a caching trip, I upload the tracks from my GPS and I can see how far I traveled and see the elevations I traversed. I don't think I would use it for point to point navigation, but it might be possible. I also use gsak, and Mapsend has an option to export your gpx files directly to a Mapsend format.
