+frefel
I get a Pocket Query Email labeled as "40057.gpx". When I try to Save it to my GeoCaching folder all seems to go well but it never arrives there and cannot be found with a search, ie: it is not being saved. What am I doing wrong? Thanks. +fivegallon
I'll play your game:What ARE you doing wrong? Seriously, you might explain the steps you go through when attempting to save the file. Also, what method you use to search for it. Quote Link to comment
+GLM
I remember reading that people have problems getting the gpx file because of anti-virus software and such. I seem to remember some ISPs not allowing the file/filename for whatever reason. You may want to try to receive your gpx file in a zipped format to see it that takes care of the problem. +sbell111
If I'm reading your post correctly, you receive the file from GC.com. You attempt to download it from the email, but it doesn't get saved to your hard drive. Is this the case? A couple of thoughts come to mind. Are you choosing to save the file, or open it? If you choose open, it is only being temporarily stored and will go away when you shut down your pc. If you are choosing to save the file, make sure you carefully pick the folder where you want it saved. You might consider doing a search of your hard drive for all *.gpx files. Quote Link to comment
