+EleriandBlade Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 Hihi! I got a GPS (A Magellen 300... don't laugh.) and a travelbug for my birthday. Unfortunately my first find was thwarted by rain and cold and a lack of sattelites before my fingers became numb, gleh. When's the next hangout, so I can babble at someone besides my hubby about caches? ~Eleri Quote
soup Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 Eleri, You might want to stop on by the www.pdxgeocaching.com website, as we (PDX'rs) utilize that forum quite extensively for hanging out activities. Oh, and welcome to the club. Soup. Quote
+Sparrowhawk Posted December 30, 2003 Posted December 30, 2003 Eleri: Email me and I will buy you a slice of pizza, and you can babble at me about geocaching and I can bitch and moan about my GPS being kaput. But I also know a lot of good caches for you. Quote

+Laserman Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 A Magellen 300... don't laugh Eleri, no laughing here. I've been using a garmin etrex (yellow) for 2.5 years. It has yet to let me down, I'm sure the 300 is decent unit and will do good by you. Welcome to the addiction, hope to see ya on the trail someday! Quote
