South_Cache Posted March 5, 2003 Share Posted March 5, 2003 My family and I went to Mardi Gras yesterday. I really dislike the parades, trash, loud music and drunken sots falling on me. Plus the weather was crappy to boot. One interesting thing did happen we gathered five grocery bags full of geo-loot, trinkets, beads, plastic toys, stuffed animals and other totally useless junk. I see folks here complaining about McToys but you havn't seen cache-trash until you have seen the Mardi Gras. I did get six doubloons from REX that depict the Louisiana Purchase Bicentennial, I will make one or two into travel bugs the rest will go into caches as trades.
