How do you add Pictures to your Cache listing

Good day. How do you add a picture to your cache listing? Not the type where you need to click to bring it up. I see The weather Channel, P.o.w/M.i.a and others. Just wandering. Have a great rest of the day.

It's all part of HTML coding used in the cache description.

 

First, you need an image stored on the internet. My avatar to the left is actually stored at http://img.Groundspeak.com/user/avatar/5518_1200.JPG

 

Then all you have to do is add to your code, where {image} is the website address of the picture.

Search around on HTML code and have fun off line. Then you can make your cache pages really nifty.

In fact, you can upload the image (<100kb) to your profile page then link THAT to your cache page. If you link to another website [even your own), the link could be broken in the future.

For that matter, you can upload it to any cache page and link to it from there. I have one archived cache that if I need an image for Geocaching, I upload it there (less than 100Kb) and link to it. Even if you "delete" the image, it stays on the server correctly linked.
