"slammer" left in a cache-what does that mean?

This is a friend's question:

 

I have seen several places where people have left a "slammer" in a cache. What the heck is a slammer? I feel silly that I don't know, but I have no idea. Thanks!!

They are probably referring to the metal or plastic embossed discs that kids use to play POGS with(remember those little cardboard discs with pictures on them that were a collecting craze for kids a few years back). My kids used to collect them including "Slammers". I have not seen one in a cache but it sounds like a good idea - I'll have to search my attic for some!
