Guest bob_renner
ion to your computer without having to manually copy the data. It saves typing or cut & paste. Bob Quote Link to comment

Guest arffer
I also evaluated EasyGPS with my 315. Found little benefit, other than saving a few seconds in downloading waypoints from geocaching.com and uploading to the 315, vs. typing them in. Note, geocaching.com currently does not convert their WGS84 datum waypoints to NAD27 when you click on a cache's topozone map (not that its a big error, worse case is around 300 feet). When using EasyGPS, it DOES convert to NAD27. So, being underwhelmed, I moved on to ExpertGPS, and I love it. Worth every penny of the $60. Not only does it in real time grab topozone maps and terra server photos to display routes and waypoints, but after a hunt I can download my track, overlay it on the map and/or photo to see where I went. Calibration to both topo maps and sat photos is automatic. Recommend you take the 14 day trail of ExpertGPS, see what you think. I quickly registered. Quote Link to comment
Guest arffer
Almost forgot... You can import mapblast driving directions from the mapblast webpage into ExpertGPS and upload as a route too! Quote Link to comment
Guest RTr1031732
THanks Arffer, thats kinda what I was thinking on those same basis, plus I did find that with the upgrade and also got the datasend CD, it helped for me more than enough for caching on my GPS315. Thanks for the valuble and further info. Bob Quote Link to comment
