+ABBAfan
I'm in the process of designing my first multi cache. The theme is geology and the real cache will be cool rocks and minerals. I would like to use part of the names in the signs of three commercial establishments a geology business and two microbreweries in town as virtual cache clues to bulid towards the actual real cache. The microbreweries are tourist spots for this Region and have been part of what is called "The Ale Trail". The three words are North (The bearing not contained in the name on the sign that says WESA that stands for Water and Earth Science Associates), GOLD (a precious metal), and BRICK (hard as stone but made of clay). The clues can be completed anytime of day whether they are open or not. Would this be allowable under the current rules regarding commercial establishments? If I may use them then I think it would make for a really good set of clues to bring you to the final destination. A totally non commercial location but very nice. Quote Link to comment
+sbell111
My opinion is that if you don't have to enter the business, its not commercial. Many virtual and offset caches require cachers to use info from signs. This is no different. Quote Link to comment
