112 caches within 20 miles of zip code 95630, a suburb in the northeast corner of Sacaramento county.

It looks like the current 'leader' is zip code 84088 in West Jordan, Utah with 170 sneakers, err... caches within 20 miles!

This is my first post to geocaching. Just found the board 30 mins. ago. I am very excited to see there are many caches near me. I live in the very active city of Austin, TX. Today I will go find some caches. I live close to a park that has many of them.

Here are my stats for 78759:

100mi - 146

50mi - 105

25mi - 84

20mi - 82

15mi - 70

10mi - 49

5mi - 17

Welcome oztun,

Hat rack is in the corner, make yourself at home. Lots and lots of information can be found here using the search tools.

The response you read will usually be friendlier if any questions you might have were not answered recently.

About the only advice I have, is to hunt a dozen caches before placing any. You'll get a better feel for the difficulty ratings and might find you enjoy certain types of caches better.

Good luck and happy trails.

10 within 20 miles (16510) 3 of them I placed so their not so fun for me to find.

16 within 40 miles

145 within 100 miles (but that's misleading unless you want to swim across Lake Erie).
