Guest prv8eye
Yesterday I got out of my car, forgetting that I had my brand new Meridian Gold resting on my lap. I heard that awful rattling sound of a small EXPENSIVE electronic device bouncing across asphalt. (Man, that's an ugly sound) Quickly bending down to retrieve it, like I was going to the aid of a wounded puppy, while shouting out numerous expletives, I was pleasantly relieved to see that it did not suffer a scratch. No doubt this was due to the rubber coating. This is NOT a testimony on the ruggedness of the Meridian. I know I was lucky, this time, and learned a valuable lesson. Gotta get a mounting bracket for the car . Gus Morrow Oceanside, Ca Quote Link to comment
Guest ClayJar
I almost feel your pain. When I saw my clumsy hands flip my MeriGold through the air with the greatest of ease, my heart sank. Of course, when my reflexes threw me across the room and I watched my hand catch it in mid-air before it hit the wall or the concrete, I was quite relieved. (Not to mention, the looks on the two guys faces that saw the whole thing were priceless. ) Quote Link to comment
