I GO WITH FRIEND ALOT WHO HAS A NICE GPS. I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THEM EXCEPT THAT I WANT ONE AND SHE PAID CLOSE TO 300.00. I CANNOT AFFORD THAT. LOOKING FOR A USED ONE THAT WILL DO THE TRICK WITH GEOCASHING. ANYONE HELP OUT HERE. MELANIEnull

Although you might find a good deal out there... I've found that used units sell for nearly the same as new ones.

 

Some of the very first GPS recievers can be had for cheap, but then you compromising the reception quality and other key features.

 

The Garmin eTrex and Magellan 315 can each be had for near $100... that's the least expensive deal out there.

And someone else posted that the Magellan Map 330X can be had at CompUSA for $125. This is the cheapest I have seen any mapping GPS, so get to a CompUSA and check this out. Oh, and don't forget the $50 rebate from Magellan's Web site.....
