Guest element14 Posted October 14, 2001 Share Posted October 14, 2001 i have a really old (c. 1996) Magellan GPS 2000, which I haven't used for a couple of years. I recently tried to use it for the first time since 2000, but it can seem to get a lock on. Does anyone know whether there are any y2k/eow problems with it. Emailing Magellan just gave the same response as their website that it is being tested for compatibility. Thanks Andrew Quote Link to comment
Guest navdog Posted October 14, 2001 Share Posted October 14, 2001 You might try going into the set-up menu and look for "initialize" then go through the prompts to set up your location so the unit can have a base setting to find the satellites in your area. Quote Link to comment
