Guest ruttencutter
I just bought a Magellan GPS 315 the other day and found my first cache on Sunday. I would like to purchase the wonderful data cable but before I do I have a few questions for this group. My Magellan currently has the path I took to find my last cache. Can I download this path into some software application and keep it? =) That is basically the only reason I would buy a cable besides interfacing it with my laptop for road mapping software. So: 1. What software can do this, if any, and what is the url for it? 2. What good software is there that would allow me to use my gps as a tool to do road navigation. Thanks -S Quote Link to comment
Guest topografix
Our PanTerra software can be used to back up the data in your GPS. You can download it at http://www.topografix.com/download.asp. You might find some of the other features useful for road navigation - it can import MapBlast driving directions and send them to your GPS, for example. http://www.topografix.com/download.asp -- Dan Foster TopoGrafix: GPS Software, Maps, and Waypoints http://www.topografix.com Quote Link to comment
