+Team Tommy
Hi everyone. We have just started Geocaching. We see this as a way to get some needed exercise, stop sitting in front of the TV, enjoy the countryside and meet new friends. Anyway, we have a Garmin GPS II+. Will this be good enough for us to start with until we can afford something newer. Hope you can advise us. Looking forward to being a regular here. Debbi & John Quote Link to comment
crr003
Well, you've found four so it seems to work Nil Satis Nisi Optimum Quote Link to comment
+Travers
I would stick with what you've already got for a while and see how you go. You could spend £500 plus on a new unit, but if you aren't likely to use all the features, then I figure it isn't worth the outlay. I think we must be just about the only ones on here to use a Magellan, but it works, it's accurate and it's waterproof...that's enough for us. Apparently, it works out bearings too, but that's way further on in the manual! Quote Link to comment
+The Wombles
Stick with it unless you're looking for more features. If you want to browse, the best impartial advice I've come across is gpsinformation.net Welcome to the fold and happy caching Dave Quote Link to comment
