Can anyone tell me of any caches on or v.near the Pacific Crest or John Muir trails.

Searching using the zipcode is difficult.

Have you tried using the view cache map function or how about DL'ing all caches in CA to Streets & Trips or similar mapping software.

 

Just some ideas.

ALOHA BABY (GCE37) in Desolation Wilderness

GRANITE SLUSH (GC7C3) atop Squaw Valley

I-80 SUMMIT (GC1F35) behind the rest stop

Plenty of snow covering these three still but hope you find them this summer.

Thanks for those suggestions. I'm not looking to 'do' the pct caches but am just interested in reading about the caches and logs of those who find them!

We crossed The Pacific Crest Trail on our way to the Little Jimmy Cache. The trail from Crystal Lake meets it at Windy Gap and the cache itself is only about 1/4 mile from the PCT.
