+GatoRx Posted April 1, 2003 Share Posted April 1, 2003 The idea for a northeastern Florida CITO for Earth Day event on April 26 was brought up by the federation a while back, and I wanted to try to get some Jacksonville-specific ideas going. I e-mailed the Parks and Recreation Department yesterday to give them some idea of what geocaching is about, why we would want to help clean up their parks, and to ask for some recommendations on parks that may need some cleaning. I haven't heard back yet, but hopefully I'll get some response soon. If anybody has some ideas for parks we could help clean, feel free to either e-mail me, or post them here. ---- When in doubt, poke it with a stick. Quote Link to comment
