+ECplus3
In feudal Japan bushido ("the way of the warrior") was the code of moral principles which the samurai were required or instructed to observe. It is a code unuttered and unwritten; an organic growth of decades and centuries of military career. In order to become a samurai this code had to be mastered. The seven virtues are loyalty, courage, compassion, respect, honesty, honour, and integrity. As you can see this is not only a good code for a samurai to live by, but for those of any profession or hobby. Even geocachers! The coin is shaped like a tsuba -- the guard at the end of the grip on bladed Japanese weapons such as the katana. It contributes to the balance of the weapon, but more importantly it prevents the hand from sliding onto the blade. Size: 42mm x 4mm thick RE Finish: Antique Bronze, Antique Nickel, Antique Copper LE Finish: Black Nickel/Satin Gold, Antique Copper/Silver, Antique Silver/Gold Available now at http://phdcoins.ca Edited September 1, 2017 by E&Cplus3 Quote Link to comment
