+M+R-YVR
Does anyone know how to delete geocache files once they've been downloaded on the Garmin GPS 62s? I've been travelling and downloaded a bunch of geocache info, but I don't need them anymore and would like to delete them from my GPS. They don't show up on the regular waypoint page and I can't figure out how to get rid of them on the downloaded geocache page. The manual only tells how to download, not how to delete once you've downloaded. HELP! Thanks. Quote Link to comment
+fraggle_[DE]
Hello M+R-YVR, connect the Garmin to your computer. You then can find the geocaches in the path GARMIN\Garmin\GPX. The GCxxxxx.gpx files are the cache information. Just delete them and they won't show up anymore. Greetings, fraggle Edited April 18, 2016 by fraggle_[DE] Quote Link to comment
+MtnMutt-ProDuckShins
If you plan on traveling to Oregon Or Washington, you could add additional information to your GPSr. That information could be Topo & Trails via Switchbacks.com. Quote Link to comment

Didn't work exactly that way on my computer (Mac) but it led me to the right place! (On Mac: > Applications > Garmin BaseCamp, and there it all is!) Who knew? Obviously, I'm not a techie and I'm not a constant geocacher, either. I appreciate your help. M+R-YVR Quote Link to comment
