+Team Abarth
If you're on Facebook, look up local geocaching groups in your area. A couple of the groups we're on post upcoming meet ups/events in the area as well as classes. The class we attended was full of information on maps...but was above our level and technical expertise...but the people that were there were really helpful with showing us some beginner stuff (plus we scored some Girl Scout cookies). Good luck Quote Link to comment

+Corp Of Discovery
Here's a link to our local organization: www.gonil.org. There are events all over the Chicago area from 6am to 7pm on the 29th. Hopefully one can work out for you. I'll send you my contact info via the messaging system. I happen to be off Monday, perhaps we could get together and go to one of the events and get some of your questions answered. Quote Link to comment
