+zeus661
I just got an Iphone and found a neat file storage app that I want to share. Its called Dropbox and I use it almost daily between work and home. MY Iphone is set to save pictures there also. I have my Iphone, Ipad, home desktop, and 2 laptops on the same account. If I work on a file I one device, save it, I can open it on the other without transferring the file. You get 2gb of free space and can pay for more. Just wish I could link my Garmin Montana to it. +user13371
Shameful, or shameless? Regardless (or irregardless, if you prefer), is Dropbox really that useful for geocaching? I don't seem to have any trouble transferring files between devices to have to use yet another cloud storage service. And realistically, even the OP mentions "just wish I could link my Garmin Montana to it." Unless you've got a cloud-connected GPS (smartphone or tablet, in other words), you're still gonna have to plug your GPS into computer or router to transfer them files. +geodarts
If the iExpander lives up to its promise I will be able to use Geosphere to import, filter, and export a pocket query to a micro sd card and put it into my gpsr. I don't know if that would be any easier than hooking up the gpsr to a computer. Edited November 23, 2012 by geodarts Quote Link to comment
