sunsarising
I have been searching through the locationless cache pages. I have to click through each page to find one near the bottom of the list. It would be easier to navigate if we were given the additional option of a drop down list for pages as well as the "next" button. Link to comment
+The Leprechauns
Just manually edit the URL that appears in your browser's address bar. Beginning on page two, the URL for the cache list will end with "&start=25". Change the "25" to "100" or wherever you want to jump ahead to. x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x .sdrawkcab dootsrednu tub sdrawrof devil si efiL Link to comment
+Markwell
I'm a little confused. Are you looking for a locationless cache at the bottom of the set of locationless caches? Or are you looking for a log at the bottom of a single locationless cache page. For the first, you can just change the website address http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest_cache.asp?LTYPE=12&start=25can becomehttp://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest_cache.asp?LTYPE=12&start=100but you have to know what page you're going to. For the second, there is a "view all logs on one page" link, that adds "&log=y" to the end of the website. This will show all the logs for that cache. Markwell Chicago Geocaching Link to comment
+Markwell
Now that's really scary - that both Leprechaun and I use the exact same example. Markwell Chicago Geocaching Link to comment
sunsarising
Thanks for the tip! It does help to get around the problem, but I still say it's something that could/should be changed on the webpage format. As far as viewing all the logs on one page, that is an excellent way to do a quick search of logs so that you don't duplicate one. Do do this, view all the logs on one page then click Edit, Find on this page, then enter a keyword for it to search for, such as a town. If that keyword is listed it will be highlighted. Hope this helps others. Link to comment
