Richard arnold
I recently bought the GeoCaching app for the iPhone, but it seems to believe that I am in America, when in fact I am in England. If I go to the map showing the cache, it places me in America and tells me that the cache is over 1000km away, and points at it. If I click "Find Nearby Caches" (or whatever it says) it shows American caches. On the website, my home location is set to England. The GPS position has never moved, staying in one precise point in the States. Firstly, can this be fixed? Secondly, will the compass still work when near the cache, or will it point as if I am in America? Thanks. Quote Link to comment

When I do that, the GPS tracks me to my current position. Edited August 23, 2011 by Rckhnd Quote Link to comment
+user13371
Main iPhone Settings, Location Services, make sure GC app is set to ON -- otherwise it can't use the GPS. Quote Link to comment
Richard arnold
I'll try both of these - thanks. EDIT: Location Services was set to OFF, thanks. I'll try it now to make sure but if I don't post again today assume that this is fixed. TYVM Portland Cyclist and Rckhnd One question for Rckhnd: What is a Geocoacher?
