Simple GPS for small Android

Hi,

I've desided to finally give geocashing a go, just to realize that my phone doesen't have an app to search for gps coordinates (I was expecting one to be pre-installed as the phone does have gps). So now I'm looking for the simpliest possible app to download. I don´t want anything that connects to the website or so to start with, but just a simple, well-working, app where I can manually put in coordinates and have it lead me there.

Would be thankfull for fast answers as I'm hoping to go out searching this weekend :)

Cheers

Katja

While my wife and I are getting a feel for geocaching, I installed GeoBeagle. It's fairly simple, and can get cache locations from this site. Best part is...it's free. Someday I may upgrade to the 'official' app, but not until we get a large number of finds under our belt.

Thank you for the answer, but I would really like just a simple GPS app, preferbly even one that only needs the gps activated, and not a network.

Gps point to point light( https://market.android.com/details?id=klaus.point_to_point&feature=more_from_developer)

or

GeoCompass ( https://market.android.com/details?id=sk.mihalovic.geocompass&feature=search_result&rdid=sk.mihalovic.geocompass&rdot=1&pli=1 )

is exactly what I'd like to have, but none of the bar codes for them are working, and I can't find them on Market =/

Which ones have you tried? I just downloaded GeoCompass on my X10 Mini Pro and it does seem to work although it's a bit annoying to have to scroll the screen to get to the space key.

where did you get that from? I've been trying to download that one, but my phone can't find it neither from the barcode or searching directly in market..

the last one I tried was "simple GPS", not sure what the previous ones were called, as I got rid of them straight away earlier today when they wouldn't work..
