Cheers Furbies.. if you do a search for the area in Auckland you are interested in, the list of geocaches comes up with a favourite rating. if people have voted for it its probably a good un! do you want quirky camo'd caches? or clever hides? or interesting/beautiful views? WackyB or A N D Y has done some great caches just off the top of my head.. and here are some our personal favourites in Auk GC1ET65, GC1KM4H, GC250Q5, GC27RPX, Quote Link to comment

If you're looking for a variety of different caches types, the top of Mt Eden has an Earthcache (with a favourites score of 5) and a Traditional cache that marks against a LINZ benchmark so you can 'calibrate' your GPSr against a known position. (Plus you get the Mt Eden views). Quote Link to comment
