I've had my first christmas present.

It's a keyring pen. It's tiny when attached to my keyring, but extends like an aerial to a useable length. Genius.

 

I think my wife got it for me to stop me asking if she has a pen in her bag when I'm near an urban cache, but it will also stop those middle-of-nowhere swearing sessions, when I realise my pen is in the car.
