DruNuts
Hello, I am just starting to post my tracks on different mountain biking websites and I am having trouble getting my saved tracks from my GPS to Garmin Connect. When I click on "upload" it only uploads my active logs, not my saved tracks. I managed to get my saved tracks on Mapsource and Basecamp, but can't transfer them to Garmin Connect. Can anyone help me get those tracks onto connect? Thank you in advance! Drew Quote Link to comment

DruNuts
If anybody has any other ideas on how to get my saved tracks to another program that allows me to share my tracks online and email them, that would be great! Thanks! Quote Link to comment
gpsbjorn
Shouldn't MapSource (Garmin, free, I think) and TopoFusion (Free trial, but don't think the gps download is affected) work well for building a GPX file that you can upload. GPSBabel may also work directly with your eTrex, but I haven't personally tried that in a long time. Quote Link to comment
+geojibby
Hook your GPSr upto the computer, copy your saved tracklog from the device to the hard drive/desktop. Then you can do 1 of 2 things. 1) upload directly to garmin connect through their "manual" option. Or, if you wanna export a saved track from Basecamp, just go File->Export Selected User Data. Then, it exports ready to be uploaded to Garmin Connect (via the manual method). Quote Link to comment
