+scrapes
I so hate ticks. I've yanked 4 off me in the past couple of weeks, the dog, he's a magnet. Frontline is a great product, he had a couple dead ones that I missed up in his armpits. My permethrin treated pants need to be treated again and the influx of ticks on me is in correlation to the worn out permethrin issue. Treat your clothes, it works. Take care of your 4 legged partner too. Quote Link to comment

Take care of your 4 legged partner too. Lots of caching in the brush over the weekend and found one crawling on my face as I drove to work this morning. Dumped the little beastie in cache-in-waiting to examine later. Yep, it's a tick alright. Worse, it's raining here again, which prolongs the tick season. We need a couple good hot, dry weeks to finish them off. Quote Link to comment
4wheelin_fool
They are terrible in NJ. Ive found over a dozen so far this year, with only 1 bite. Usually I can count on them to land on my clothes, escape into the car, and then crawl up onto the headliner and drop down on me when I'm driving. Quote Link to comment
+Jeep4two
I think this is almost a universal issue. Here in Ky they seem more active than in previous years as well. Both #1 and I have pulled numerous ticks off even when using well established and clear trails. Tick checks are now a regular part of our hiking/caching activities. Quote Link to comment
