+shaungourley Posted February 21, 2010 Share Posted February 21, 2010 Hi There Wonder if someone can help me, I have been sing my Garmin Oregon 400t at the weekend for geocaching. I can search for the nearest geocache and at the top of my gps it gives me the distance to it and the direction in which to travel. My 10 year old son in his wisdom has reset my gps to factory settings and whilst it still locates a geocache, it no longer gives me the distance or direction in which to travel. Just a map. Could anyone please advise what I need to do as I wish to be able to use it as before. Thanks Shaun Quote Link to comment
+FollowMeChaps Posted February 21, 2010 Share Posted February 21, 2010 Shaun - you don't say what screen you prefer to use - map, compass, etc. Let's assume you use the map - to add info' to the map try Setup>Map>Data Fields> then choose one you prefer - if you've updated your software then you might find you like Dashboard>Geocaching - Active but play around and try the one you prefer. If you use the compass then just hit the icon in the botto, right corner and try the different choices. Have fun! Quote Link to comment
