+ninja_fish
This is a long shot, because the price of GPS units are astronomical. This account is for my 11 year old that geocaches with his grandpa. I thought it would be cool if he could have a unit of his own. I am not looking to spend more than $50. I am also not looking for top of the line. Just something he can use locally (Ohio). I would pay through paypal. Please send me an email at erinleigh1128@gmail.com. Thanks! +PaneledZero
Have you thought about getting him a Geomate Jr.? I have seen them and they seem really cool and I hear they work great. I think the price is $65, I see that is more than the $50 you want to pay but not much more. You might be able to find them cheaper on Amazon. PZ Quote Link to comment
+Steph2472
These guys go for 69.95 on Amazon or REI and I happen to have (2) brand new in the box that I need to sell. Will let them go for $65 each, plus free shipping within US. They are great units to get you started! The easiest and quickest way to get in on the geocaching fun, the Geomate.jr is an incredibly affordable and amazingly easy to use geocaching GPS--just switch it on anywhere in the United States, and be directed to your closest geocache. It's really that easy! With over 250,000 pre-loaded geocache locations covering all 50 U.S. states, it's an outdoor adventure just waiting to happen anywhere, anytime, straight out of the box! No downloads, Internet connection, or typing in coordinates necessary. Happy Caching! Quote Link to comment
