+cmerun
Hello, I bought a Garmin 60Cx in November based on feedback I read on this site. I'm learning to use it and happy with my purchase. Although I've read the manual a bunch of times, I can not figure out how to enter coordinates manually. Can someone please help? I am generally pretty tech savvy but this has me stumped. Thank you! cmerun Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Press and hold the Mark button. That will mark your current location and you should see a pop-up with the coords listed. Toggle down to the coord field and select enter, that will allow you to edit the coords. (Still looking for the manual (book) description) Found it. Page 10 of your manual. You can get an online copy here: www.garmin.com/manuals/GPSMAP60Cx_OwnersManual.pdf Edited January 6, 2010 by BlueDeuce Quote Link to comment
+uxorious
Press the "Mark" button. That will mark where you are as a waypoint, and show the page for it. You can then use the joystick to highlight anything you want to edit on the page. Hit enter, and you will be able to change the coordinates to what you need. Quote Link to comment

+cmerun
Thanks, everyone. I figured out what I was doing wrong. (We call this an I D Ten T issue.) It had to do with using the correct arrow to move the pointer. I was trying to use the arrow on the rocker and not the one on the screen. I'm so happy to have this figured out. I appreciate your help! Quote Link to comment
