+Tamerton Chocolates Posted October 9, 2009 Share Posted October 9, 2009 Hi, I am using a Nokia N95-8GB with Trimble's geocache navigator. I was using the free version until a month ago which worked fine. I purchased a copy when that free version expired but it seems there is a bug in it. I cannot enter manual coordinates anymore. Whatever I enter, as soon as I hit next - the application tells me I have arrived within feet of my entered coordinates. I wrote to Trimble about this and I got a reply back saying they were actively working on a fix. But nothing since. - Anyone else seen this problem? Or perhaps not? - As I cannot really do anything other then standard geocaches anymore - is there a Symbian or J2ME application that will run on the phone that can do manual coordinates input and then a compass screen to navigate me to it? (I have dabbled with geocacher live - which allows you to enter coordinates as a new POI, but their compass screen is not very good, I also tried locify but this is so ridiculously slow that it is unworkable) Cheers TC Quote Link to comment
