Lots of places seem to have it by mail order, but I'd really like to get my hands on one to see how it feels, look at the screen, etc. I'd also like to get my hands on the Oregon, but it is not so hard to figure out who carries them. REI is not a good option for me. I live in Central Illinois, and the closest is > 150 miles away. I will be in Indianapolis tomorrow, so that opens up lots of options, but REI is not one of them. Most of these places have a liberal return policy. This is the precise reason why they have these return policies. LL Bean revolutionized mail order with a return policy that is considered part of customer service. That is why you keep on coming back. BTW, I bought a PN 20 for my son several months ago, I just bought myself a PN 30, both mail order sight un seen, based upon reviews I had seen and price comparison. I am not sorry. I took both out yesterday to compare them one on one, after uploading PN 20 firmware and updates. I think they are both very good units. Quote Link to comment
