glw
I don't know if this is allowed and if not I appolize. The park board is going to dedicate a monument to the Union boys who were slain in the Civil War battle of Centralia, Mo. They have been so impressed by the attitude and manners of the geocachers who have visited our battlefield, that I have been asked to invite any geocachers who want to attend to come. the event is on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 2. p.m. Follow the directions to the "Bloody Bill" cache. +FRIED OKRA
You could even make it an event. I enjoyed visiting that cache location and even found the marker in the Jefferson City National Cemetery the next day. Very cool. Thanks for the heads up. If I'm not busy, I may even try to make it.
