+simpler1773 Posted June 29, 2009 Share Posted June 29, 2009 I was looking at the car decal travel bugs and noticed that it comes with the matching tags. How does this work? I understand you put the bug on your vehicle and people can log that they saw you (I guess?), but then are you supposed to release the tags as well? +popokiiti Posted June 30, 2009 Share Posted June 30, 2009 What I have seen one cacher do up here, is remove his magnetic tag if he thinks he is in an area where someone might steal it, but hang the dog tags from his rear view mirror so he can still be tracked by his fellow cachers. We donated an unactivated car decal bug as a door prize at a recent event....it was won by someone who had had to buy a new car when her decal decorated car finally gave up the ghost.
