+calvin brown
Does anyone know if you can make a querie for someone that doesn't own a PC. I don't have windows or Mac Parelles to make a querie for my Garmin Nuvi 750. Maybe I could give you my home Quords and you could make one for me and email it to me. Thanks in advance. Below is the website that is supposed to help with this issue. http://pilotsnipes.googlepages.com/index.html Quote Link to comment
Motorcycle_Mama
Since it is against the Waypoint Licensce Agreement for Pocket Query data to be shared, I would imagine that no one will be able to run a Pocket Query and email it it to you. In addition to that problem, in order to use the pilotsnipes method, you also need to purchase and install a program named GSAK, and then would also need to use Garmin's POI Loader software in order to load the Pocket Query data to your GPS unit. And lastly you will have a problem in that the data isn't static. It's dynamic and changing on a daily basis, so the data needs to updated constantly. Perhaps you have a friend or family member who has access to a Windows based PC who can assist you with this. Quote Link to comment

Motorcycle_Mama
Well, then you need to get Parallels (or some equivalent) and run Windows. Because while there is a Mac version of POI Loaders, there is not a Mac version of GSAK. Alternately, you could just use POI Loader to load your Pocket Queries in their unmodified form. You will get Waypoint ID and the coordinates loaded. You just won't be able to see the hints and other information on the GPS unit. Quote Link to comment
