a few days in London...

Hello geocachers,

i will stay a few days in London in January. So I ask you to recommend me some geocaches.

i don't know how the weather will be in early January, but I guess it won't be warm & dry =)

 

so if you know some

• short multicaches
  
• nice traditional caches
  
• easy mystery caches
  

...

If they are worth looking for in spare time, please let me know.

I will stay in London Kensington.

 

And please excuse my surely not perfect English, I hope you get an idea what I am asking for?!

Holland Park GCVMV1 has a number of geocaches in it: all are pleasant and not too difficult. Kensington is a bit of a geocache desert. There are a lot of geocaches in Kew and Richmond, many of them puzzles (about 25 mins on the direct Underground from South Kensington). Use my Munificence GC1J6AY as a start to find all the nearby caches. Hampstead Heath in north London has a lot of caches but its further away and most are a little 'ordinary'. GCGBGB Last delivery is a cache near St Pauls Cathedral (about 30 mins from Kensington) and there are lots of virtual and small caches nearby, all quite fun.

Regents Park has several caches which i've enjoyed. In one day I walked from Holland Park, through Hyde Park and up to Regents Park. Its a fairly long walk but I found 13 caches on the way so was a good day out.

When are you visiting, as you may find some caching buddies willing to join you for a while.
