+FireRef
I have been using TextMarks to log caches for a couple of weeks now - it works great! The problem is that I have 2 people with me who want to do the same thing - they have accounts on the website, but when they try to set up the link between textmarks and the field notes on GC.com, it doesn't work. It gives them a device identifier and a pin, but when they log into their account, and input that information, it says that it can't find that account. Any ideas? Do you have to be a premium member to use this? I didn't think so... It doesn't say anything about it in the notes. Quote Link to comment
+FireRef
Ok - more general question - is anyone else using these at all? Quote Link to comment
Skippermark
Yes, I started using it in full force this past weekend and love it, but it doesn't work well if you're doing a lot of park and grabs where you're in out of the car quickly and juggling 3 devices, a GPS, Palm (for the GC number & cache info) and now a phone...and then a Nuvi to get you to the next cache. I think it'll be great on a less "feverish" day. This was my first time really using it, so I kept a backup copy on my Palm. Well, I accidentally deleted all my founds logs from my Palm from this past Saturday. Thank goodness I'd used the TextMarks because that would have been a bummer to have no record of what I found.
