+swimr48 Posted October 28, 2008 Share Posted October 28, 2008 I've scoured the internet and am in a daze. I have a etrex venture, black and white, serial connection. I purchased a garmin serial cable, and a keyspan serial adapter. My PowerBook sees the Keyspan serial adapter, but I cannot get any farther (actually loading any caches onto the gps). I have downloaded the latest and greatest garmin communicator (which works with my etrex venture hc (via native usb cable) I've tried maccaching (doesn't work with the HC either), gps babel. Can anyone help with the settings and steps to connect, or is this a lost cause? Pat Quote Link to comment
