Rules

In order to qualify for points in the CAPE BRETON CELTIC CACHING CHALLENGE 2008 event, caches must:

Be published between 12:00 am, Sept 10th and 11:59pm Oct 10th. This will allow the reviewers time to do their part.

Have the word "CELTIC" somewhere in the title.

Include the CELTIC CACHING Banner "To be made in a few weeks" at the top or bottom of the cache description on geocaching.com. (You must check "The descriptions below are in HTML" in your geocaching.com listing for it to work.)

Meet the requirements for one and only one of the CELTIC CACHING categories. Caches that meet the requirements for more than one category will be awarded points for the category with the highest score. When listing the cache please describe the category in the listing. IE " This cache is a Category 26 hide, it is winter freindly,,,,,,"

Caches that are found to not meet the stated category requirements will not be counted.

There is no limit to the number of caches that may be placed in a given category.

Categories specifying a minimum distance to a neighboring caches will be confirmed when published, but will not be disqualified by subsequent hides within the stated minimum radius.

A cacher who places his or her first cache will earn a 10 point bonus.

Please do not place caches in plastic bags, this only allows water to collect and ruin the cntainer
